Introduction to gamma spectrometry
The best products are the ones that don't need a manual, but when it comes to gamma spectroscopy a little bit of guidance can be helpful. Some people prefer to read a manual and others prefer to watch a video, so for those I have created these basic instruction videos and I hope you find them helpful.
Note that specific details about how to use the software will become outdated as new versions emerge, but the basic functions will still be present, so you might have to look for a button or a link if it has moved in later versions.
Choice of Software
In the following videos I use PRA (Pulse recorder and Analyser), this is just one of several free programs that will work with the Gammaspectacular spectrometer, so I strongly recommend trying all programs to find the one that you feel comfortable with. You can find descriptions of the different programs in the software menu above.
