Steven,

I'm not shielding background. The CdWO4 scintillators naturally have low background counts. Yesterday I increased about ten times amplification and I've noticed coming pulses more frequently on oscilloscope. Should I continue increasing amplification?

Pawel,

Sorry for slow reply, I just got back from a weeks trip up to Queensland.

I just opened your audio file in Audacity and as you can see for yourself the tallest pulses are barely making it to 50 arb.u.
