Hi All,
I picked up one of these modules on ebay cheap and I was thinking I might be able to build it into a small gamma spectrometer. Has anyone got any experience with these models, there is a lens on the front, and below that the tube seems to be curved so I am not sure of the best way to interface a crystal to the detector as it doesn't look easy to directly couple it with grease.
Has anyone tried with a air gap between crystal and detector?
