One thing I don’t quite understand
Bestrahlung is a spectrum unlike the characteristic peak.
Why is mine about 15 kev peak with no spectrum at other sides?This is without any aluminium blockage.

Hello Taray,
I am using some Am241 from a smoke detector for the XRF.
This goes from 15 keV to over 45 keV quite well.

Americium is indeed my favourite xrf method.
X-Rays is just. trying out new things .
What detector are you using?
