Health Physics is the preeminent journal devoted to the relation between ionizing radiation and health effects, covering many topics including detection. In the August 2026 issue [volume 131, number 2] the article "An Affordable Open-source Flexible Spectroscopic Radiation Mapping System Employing Sound Card Digitization'. It mentions the Gamma Spectacular GS-PRO-V5 USB Gamma Spectrometer and Marek Dolleiser's PRA software.
