Hi everyone!
I've been interested in science and physics for a long time, and some time ago obtained a 2x2" NaI detector. Well, I finally got myself a GS-PRO-V5 and have been doing a bit of experimenting with it!
I'm still setting it up and trying different settings - voltage, pulse shape etc to try and get the best performance out of it, as well as trying the different software like PRA, BecqMoni, Impulse etc. I quite like Bec, apart from there doesn't seem to be much (any?) help file or info on it.
So far I've tried some monazite, Ba-133 and a few other things.
I've also got an old 3x3" NaI/PMT, but that will need quite a bit of work to get up and running.
Hoping to learn a lot from other peoples' experiences!
