Post by lodovico » 11 May 2015, 03:38

My name is Lodovico and I live and work in Trento (Italy).
I work in a ITC company in software development but I have experience in hardware also.
One of my favorite hobby is doing some "science for fun" activities. I like DIY also.
I am fond of gamma spectrometry / XRF / radiation detection in general so I am glad to join this forum.

Thank you for your welcome.
@Tom : my RAP47 is working great. I did a lot of XRF with this detector, actually not finished yet because there are far more elements and compounds to be checked, however buying them on eBay is too easy (and expensive also ...).
At this link http://www.theremino.com/wp-content/upl ... ec_ENG.pdf you can find the results.
Bye
Lodovico

Hi Lodovico,
YES, I first saw that document a few months ago and was VERY impressed. I did not realize that it was your work, EXCELLENT and well layed out. From Theory to practice, with first-rate charts, diagrams, and pictures. So easy, anyone follow it! One of the finest documents I have seen yet for enthusiast interested in getting into XRF, and a good resource for those already involved. Cheers, Tom
