Hello,
I’m Marcel from Germany. My interest in radiation began with collecting radioactive minerals and products from the past (uranium glass, lantern mantels etc.). I also had interest in the field of medical imaging using radiation so I started training to become a radiology technician (hope that’s the correct term in English).
I bought a few different Geiger counters and dosimeters in the past and I’m now willing to take the plunge into the world of spectroscopy after watching a lot of videos on YouTube and consequently reading up on the physics behind it.
I hope you’re all having a nice week!
Greetings from Germany

Nice to hear about some like-minded germans.
I always feel like 99% of the population here are suffering from severe radiophobia :D
I got to know my setup a bit over the weekend so I’ll probably share some results soon!
