Andrew,

Here is an old recording done with eV-CZT on PRA-3, the spectrum is Ba133 and the tall peak is at 81 Kev which is arb.u 0.61.

Line level at around + - 1.75V so divide this by 100 arb U and get 17.5 mA per arb.u,

As far as I recall the eV-CZT was connected directly into the line in port.

Note: PC line level and amplification can vary from sound card to sound card.

Yes, I tested Am241 too, but I am not sure which files I saved. I am now at work, will look into it this evening. Regards, Alfred

Enclosed two graphs showing 241Am, using CZT and using NaI(Tl). Resolution @59.5 keV appeared worse with CZT (30%) than with NaI (25%), in contrast to the results with Lutetium.
