Hi guys,

I have put a file in my Dropbox that might interest you.
It is from (BNC) Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation, and is made in cooperation with Scionix, it gives info on there SAM 940 portable detector that contains a NaI(Tl) Scionix detector.
But It has also other interesting info about different type of detectors, it even has a small quiz about detectors I hope you will appreciate it.

Simply download the file; BNC.Rar and after downloading and unzipping start the menu file.

Hi Steven,

Yes your system will work to of course good to, it is a nice and simple solution and for a more hobby price .
We have one Sam 935 and a Sam940 at work and it is a nice piece of equipment for sure we just use it for testing probes, we build all the detectors for BNC.
I have for myself at home a Canberra Inspector 1000 with a temperature stabilized probe the Ipros-2, great tool but also not real amateur equipment because of the to high price.
I uploaded the Sam info because they have a interesting ”simple” quiz but also more info about detecting.
I have some questions about the detectors you build but shall mail you of list about it later.
