Uranium glass

Post by Peter-1 » 17 Nov 2018, 04:14

I was examining a small cube of uranium glass. Now I'm looking for an explanation for the small peak at 30 keV. Can it come from lanthanum? There is probably lanthanum in the glass, but I can't check it. Or another idea.

Hi Peter,
this
UGlass-2.jpg
was my attempt with Uranium Glass, I thought that peak was due to Th231 or an escape peak, but Max Gaspa suggested me it was simply XRF.
