–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

• Changed line plot on tab2 to stepped plot ✅
• Added Support for Globalsat GPS module ✅
• Added new plot on tab3 showing interval histogram ✅
• Added option on tab3 to fix y axis height ✅
• added slider on tab3 for smoothing of spectrum ✅
• Added Button on tab3 for GPS data download ✅
• Added button on tab3 for plotting GPS on map. ✅
• Updated manual to reflect changes ✅
Notes:
Apart from a few bug fixes that probably did not affect most users, this version has been enhanced with a GPS option. For most users GPS is not going to be very useful, but we have a few geologists who might find it handy. I bought a relatively common GPS module called BU-353N5 0 it costs less than $50 online and works straight out of the box. The main changes are on tab3
• GPS status (red/green)
• Last interval histogram plot
• Download GPS data button
• Plot counts on Map button
Note: Internet connectivity is required to see the map, it opens in a default browser.
🤔 I would be very interested to hear if anyone tries to use this feature.
