For those of you who have Repitaya 125-14 v1 I went ahead, with permission from NuclearPhoenixx / Matthias for making a webapp for the Red pitaya running RP OS v2.07-51. The application works very well and is made to access the FPGA data stream directly. It is lightning quick at creating a spectrum now.
Here is what was changed: App now has an updated main.cpp, controllerhf.so, stream.app and websocket port to handle the hardware and 16bit FPGA stream.
the app now starts with 16 decimation, a much larger FPGA DMA buffer, 16384 spectrum channels, and lower threshold/hysteresis values that better match the reference MCA behavior. I also replaced the old freeform Serial Channel No setting with a fixed Spectrum Bins control for 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, and 16384, and wired it to update the backend live. I also added Pulse Polarity to Positive Pulses for normal positive peaks, or Negative Pulses if your preamp chain is inverted.
Here are some pictures of what you can expect. I will put the webapp up in github shortly as I am just writing the install procedures.
