R0B0T,
I recently went on a short vacation near Sozopol, so I drove by that beach...unfortunately I didn't have time to stop by. Apparently though there is a huge camping site between Chernomorets and Atia. There were quite a lot of campers in tents. They were set up right on the beach. Is it like that every year? Apparently people there don't give a damn about radiation warnings.
Not that they should that much though. I slept for one night in Burgas. It happened to me before and it happened again. About 2AM, I woke up, windows open with an awful smell of a petrochemistry products - somewhat resembling asphalt but not quite. Guess that's from the oil refinery. It was so bad I was about to puke a couple of times. Had to close the windows. Subsequently, I opened the window to check whether it was gone. It stayed until about 5AM. Couldn't sleep. I think that's much much more concerning as compared to that Vromos beach.
